The 90-Second Headache Reset (Neck + Jaw Tension)

Wellness Wednesday | Quick Tip. Real Life. Easy To Use.

A simple reset for that “tight band” feeling. One short, practical wellness idea each Wednesday — designed to help you feel better, move better, and stay consistent.

This Week’s Tip: Do this when a headache starts to build

Perform this 90-second reset as needed:

  • 30 sec: Tongue on the roof of mouth – Keep lips closed and teeth apart to allow the jaw to relax.

  • 30 sec: Gentle chin tuck – Use a small, controlled movement combined with slow nose breathing.

  • 30 sec: Shoulder blades down and back – Hold for 3 seconds, then relax for 3 seconds.

Why This Works: Jaw tension, forward head posture, and elevated shoulders often travel together. This sequence unloads the suboccipitals and reduces tension patterns.
