Dr. Aaron Smith received post graduate education and training through the prestigious Spine Research Institute of San Diego studying under the guidance of Dr. Arthur Croft, PhD, DC, MS, MPH, FACO. During his training with Dr. Croft, Dr. Smith completed the certification program titled 'Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology'. 

 

This Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology series consisted of 4 modules covering the following topics:

 

1.  Whiplash Advanced Topics:  The Fundamental Science

 

2.  Management Principles in Personal Injury and Forensic Documentation

3.  Principles in Impairment Rating and Forensic Reporting

 

4.  Medicolegal Fundamentals for Practitioners and Forensic Experts

 

In addition to completing the 4 module program Dr. Smith holds a certificate of advanced certification thorough the SRISD.

Dr. Smith attained post-doctorate certification in MRI Spine Interpretation and Spinal Biomechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

• The most advanced diagnostic technology including Computerized Radiographic Mensuration Analysis (CRMA) to objectively grade the severity of ligament injury.  

             

• Thorough consultation with the patient including present and past pertinent medical history.

 

• Periodic and consistent orthopedic and neurological evaluations to document case progression.

 

• We adhere to nationally recognized care guidelines for whiplash injuries.

• Consultation:  Dr. Smith is available for general consultation to help answer questions associated with mechanism of injury, causality, and bodily injury.
